Hygiene

With AutoTap the user no longer needs to touch the faucets to get water running. As a result, he or she will not contaminate or receive contamination from the faucet. This is particularly important after handling poultry and meat, where hands potentially contaminated with bacteria like salmonella, needs to be washed.

There are also numerous instances in which a person’s hands are not free to operate the faucet. With AutoTap this becomes a non-issue.

1) Without AutoTap, one of these two hands must turn off the faucet. This is how salmonella bacteria and germs migrate and contaminate other things.

3) With AutoTap, these oily hands wouldn’t need to touch the faucet.

2) AutoTap eliminates the use of hands for turning on and off the faucet. Therefore, you reduce the chance of cross-contamination. Now this is something to be happy about!
